Hersh writes that Pamela Turnure, Jackie Kennedy's press secretary, was
one
of JFK's many conquests. A similar claim was made in an October 1961
letter
mailed to Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy by a Washington, D.C. woman.
The letter writer, one Florence Mary Kater, criticized RFK for failing to
stop his older brother's alleged affair with Turnure, according to this
FBI memo.
