Die unterrichtliche Aufbereitung der tragischen Ereignisse vom 11.09.2001 in den USA und ihrer weltpolitischen Folgen erscheint dringend geboten, denn nur so kann einer irrationalen Xenophobie vorgebeugt werden.
Meine Intention ist es, dem geneigten Leser eine möglichst große Zahl authentischer Materialien zugänglich zu machen, aus der für unterrichtliche Zwecke das Geeignete ausgewählt werden kann.

Ich habe dabei das Material bewusst unkommentiert gelassen, da die didaktische Aufarbeitung der Lehrkraft überlassen bleiben muss.
Konkrete Unterrichtsvorschläge werden von der New York Times unterbreitet, die in meiner Rubrik Unterricht Konkret eingesehen werden können. Hier sind ausreichend Hinweise vorhanden, wie mit dem vorhandenen Material unterrichtlich umgegangen werden könnte.
